man so findet: Anyone ever want to see the CHIPS punk episode! well, here's your chance. TNT (Cable Channel 25 on ATT Broadband) is scheduled to air the episode at 6AM this Tuesday morning (March 19). Why am I telling ya about this? Cuz it's a fun hilarious episode that typically puts punks as being "the bad guys." Remember, this is when the media potrayed anything related to punk rock as some kind of devil cult lunacy. Punk rockers was labelled as friendly as the Manson family. Well, at least they got that part right...hehe. Anyways, why wouldn't anyone want to watch a episode titled "BATTLE OF THE BANDS" that features a bunch of punk rocker thieves that start a punk band called PAIN that with the aid of some mysteriously acquired instruments pins what should be an all-time punk classic, "I Dig Pain." Which I always felt some band should cover (Broken Society?). The episode is as good as it gets. Right up there, with the QUINCY punk episode or the ABC After-School Special "The Day My Kid Went Punk" (or better yet when Suicidal Tendencies appeared on Miami Vice). Ever thought SUBURBIA or REPO MAN was cool! This one tops it. Plus, where else can you witness Eric Estrada singing some flashy lame disco!! Well? Yeah, I thought so. I know you want to tune for sure now. Fun, fun, fun. Watch it, be amazed, kiss an hour of sleep goodbye. oder: While I haven't made it to the theatre yet to see it, I saw a clip from it on Letterman just before it opened, and I took more exception to all the piercings than I did to the mohawks. Back in '77, you might have seen some hardy souls with a safety pin through their cheek or ear, and maybe a token chain attached, but all this designer body jewelery? Nah. I wrote George and called him on it and he wrote back that yeah, that was all wrong and Spike knew it, but Disney wanted it, so... I was glad to hear that, 'cause you'd expect Spike to take enough pride in his project to get it right, left to his own devices... die quincy punk episode (133?) war so grossartig wie jedesmal! und naechstes ostern gefaelligst rocknroll highschool bei zdf. ...
